We work in the gap between you and your professional advisors (accountant, financial planner, bank manager, solicitor), educating you in the process so that you better understand what they need from you and the advice they will give you.
Providing you and your professional advisors with the information they need will mean their fees are less because they need to do less work!
We listen to you and tailor our approach to match your ability and desire to do your own bookkeeping. Our engagement can range from a full bookkeeping service, to acting as your “virtual CFO”, mentoring you to take control of your financial destiny. Meet Our Team
Stephen Lowe C.A.
Stephen Lowe is the Principal and visionary behind TME. He grew up on a farm and developed an interest in accounting as he helped his mum do the farm books. He started his own small pig raising business at 15, profits from which paid for his University education. He work at Coopers & Lybrand for 15 years before embarking on a range of consultancies to SME and NFP organisations.
40 years of business and life experience later, including 12 years of corporate insolvency work where he saw many people mess up their lives through poor financial understandings, Treasury Made Easy P/L was formed to help individuals, small businesses and non-profits manage their finances in a way that makes it easy; easy to keep track of, easy to report on, and easy for them to make better financial decisions! This is where the name “Treasury Made Easy” was born.
Steve has played competitive tennis and table tennis all his life and is now a keen golfer at Riversdale Golf Club in Mt Waverley. He has been Treasurer of a number of sporting and NFP organisations, and has extensive experience with the NFP sector.
Roger McKinnon C.A.
Roger McKinnon is a Chartered accountant with experience in a public accounting firm, listed wine company and 11 years with the Victorian State office of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. With 2 young children, Roger has joined the TME team to specialise in Not for profit and small business accounting, and to have a great work life balance.
Roger still plays cricket in the summer but doesn’t think he will join Steve on the golf course in the near future!
Phil Tregenza CPA
Phil is a Dad to his 2 daughters and devoted husband to wife Jude. After a career in Business including, the property, education & banking industries, Phil now uses his accounting skills to help Not for Profit and small business clients with their compliance work, keeping them on the straight and narrow.
Ryan Mazumder C.A
Originally from India, Ryan has extensive accounting experience in the industry and corporate sectors both here in Australia, India and the Middle East. Since starting with Treasury Made Easy, Ryan has developed a niche working with self- managed NDIS clients.
Josephine Chong
Josephine is a multilingual lady of Malaysian Chinese background, speaking English, Mandarin and Cantonese. She loves working with not for profit and business clients and is meticulous in her work. She has empathy for clients starting out on Xero and approaches her work with great enthusiasm.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time in nature, cooking and providing hospitality and she plays a mean board game.
